Silage & Grain Bagger | Roto-Press

Silage Baggers & Grain Baggers

Silage Baggers are agricultural equipment that are designed for handling silage material, which is basically fermented grass or other forage. They consist of a rotor that shreds the material and a conveyor that feeds it into a silage bag. The bags are then sealed, allowing the silage to continue to ferment.

Grain Baggers are used to load grain into grain bags and consists of a hopper that loads grain onto a conveyor belt, which transports the grain into a bagger. The bagger then works the carbon dioxide in the air inside the bag, which helps to fill the bag more efficiently and compactly.

Roto-Press Bagging Equipment

Our silage and grain bagging systems offer the ultimate in cost-effective crop storage. Far less expensive than permanent silos and bunkers, bagged storage also prevents the nutrient loss of bales, stacks, or pits. The Roto-Press bagging system provides the exact storage capacity, where you need it and when you need it every time. Versatile and flexible, the Roto-Press bags anything from silage to by-products to simultaneously bagging and cracking shell corn when a roller mill is added.

Roto-Press Bagging systems are available in a range of sizes for silage and grain bagging. The Roto-Press bagger is simple to set up and operate; accommodates tractors ranging from 80-200HP; features few moving parts; and is easy to transport from one location to another. A Roto-Press bagger is the one machine that will bag all your crops.

Advantages

Silage bags can be beneficial because they reduce the amount of grains exposed to oxygen, which significantly reduces the amount of dry matter lost and improves the fermentation process, leading to better quality feed.

Silage and grain baggers have proven to be more efficient and durable than traditional storage methods, such as steel silos. They can withstand the harsh conditions of the farm, including exposure to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and harsh machinery.

Baggers can easily be moved around the farm, made possible by the use of bagging wheels, which can be attached to tractors or other machinery.

Silage and grain baggers can increase efficiency by quickly and easily packing corrugated metal, plastic or polyethylene bags around grain or other high moisture forage. This is especially useful for short-term storage.

Silage and grain baggers can be a cost-effective solution for grass and silage storage, as they are affordable to purchase and maintain, and are more flexible in terms of storage and transport options.
