Introduction/Information

The 980V vertical feed mixer is the intermediate size of our vertical side wall feed mixers. This mixer has a capacity of up to 980 cu. ft. Herd Boss mixers have been built on the ideas of tough and durable. The mixer comes with a thick and durable 10” rubber extension to help reduce spillage. The auger flighting is built with 3/4” abrasion resistant material to reduce the amount of wear. Following those same parameters is the side walls as they are made with 3/8” abrasion resistant material and the floor that is 3/4″ abrasion resistant material. The frame is a robust steel-construction that will be able to withstand wear and tear over time. Herd Boss Conveyors have an all stainless steel construction to reduce corrosion and wear.
